The Paris region network QuanTiP – Quantum Technologies in Paris Region – supported by the CNRS (Ile-de-France Villejuif Delegation), has been labeled a major research and innovation area (Domaine de recherche et d'Innovation Majeur – DIM) by the Île-de-France Region for a period five years (2022-2026). In the competitive field of quantum technologies, it brings together a set of academic teams at the best global level and a pool of startups and businesses from the Ile-de-France region, in order to develop cutting-edge application technologies and accelerate the transfer of quantum technologies to the industry, through a dedicated valorization program.
The quantum “Priority Research Program and Equipment” (Programme et Équipement de Recherche Prioritaire - PEPR) represents the upstream part of the national acceleration strategy dedicated to quantum technologies, announced in January 2021. It aims to support research efforts ranging from fundamental research to the proof of concept.
